Joyce's Jalapeno Corn Bread

1 cup yellow corn meal
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup cream corn
1 med onion chopped
4oz can ortega chili - chopped
1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs beaten
1 cup buttermilk

Combine dry ingredients.
Add remaining.
Stir until moist.

greased pan 425-450

25-35 mins.
