Garlic Hasselback Potatoes

Tisha saw something similar to this on some Food Network show. I googled it and it seems to be a Swedish dish. We have made them a dozen times. Awesome everytime!!!


small russett potatoes
olive oil
butter
fresh garlic - sliced fairly thin
salt
fresh ground pepper

preheat oven to 400

make slices into potato, without going all the way through
place slice of garlic into slices
coat potatoes with olive oil and butter
apply salt & pepper to taste

place potatoes onto a baking sheet and bake in oven for about an hour
