Fresh Herb Compound Butter

I read a couple recipes for compound butter and then made this one up.  I use it in all sorts of recipes with chicken, fish, beef, pork. It works great on the grill, on the stove, and in the oven. It allows you to quickly add a fresh lemon-herb taste to whatever you are using it for. Great to have on hand in the fridge.

FRESH HERB COMPOUND BUTTER

1 stick butter (salted)
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard (Gulden's or similar)
2 cloves garlic (crushed with garlic press)
1 tablespoon fresh chopped rosemary
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

soften butter (do not melt)
mix in all ingredients evenly

Butter mixture can now be spooned onto plastic wrap and rolled/formed tightly into a log shape. Place into fridge for 30 mins or until hardened. Cut into slices as needed.

Can be used on beef, pork, fish, etc....
